Montana TEA Party Condemns Arizona Attack

Montana TEA Party Condemns Arizona Attack BILLINGS- Members of the Montana TEA Party Coalition today issued the following statement condemning the Arizona shooting attack which tragically wounded over a dozen people, including Congresswoman Gabrielle (Gabby) Giffords, and resulted in the deaths U.S District Judge John Roll and several others. The independent members of the Montana TEA Party are saddened and shocked by the tragic shooting which occurred today in Arizona. This type of violence is not representative of the principles of liberty and justice which members of a free society hold so dear. Our sincerest condolences go out to the families of the victims, and our heartfelt prayers to those who are still fighting for their lives. While some have tried to politicize this incident and make it about right or left, Republican or Democrat, such antagonism cheapens the loss of life which is being felt by all Americans, and is an insult to the magnitude of this tragedy. We call on all members of the public, regardless of creed or political affiliation, to lay aside their petty differences and stand resolute in condemnation of such radical and mindless violence.Martin Luther King Jr. once said “At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love; An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. ” Montana’s TEA Party members stand unified, shoulder to shoulder during this difficult time in support of the victims of this senseless tragedy.
